Makawanpur: – The Patan Hetauda Bench of the High Court has issued an order to Manila Bista, vice-chairperson of Manahari village municipality, to return to her post.

A joint bench of Justices Mohammad Sabir Hussain and Chandiraj Dhakal issued an order dismissing all proceedings and allowing Vice President Bista to return to work.

Bista had filed a writ petition in the Patan Hetauda High Court saying that she had not resigned. The court ruled in favor of Vice President Bista.

Advocates Shushil Kumar Pokhrel, Madan Dahal, Amrit Lama and Shiva Prasad Banjara argued in favor of Bista.

Bista’s resignation was accepted by the village municipality on Poush-17.
