Makawanpur: – An interaction program on the ‘Role of civil Society in education policy making’ has been organized by DEC Nepal in Hetauda under the project with the financial support of USAID.

During the interaction program, the discussion on introduction and importance of education, education in the constitution, education situation in Makawanpur, challenges and work to be done in education, contribution of society for ensuring right to education were done.

Prakash Khatiwada, Bagmati provincial Coordinator of the National Campaign for Education, Nepal had facilitated the interaction program.

At the program Krishna Prasad Sapkota, Branch Officer of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Makawanpur, Gangadhar Rimal, Chief of Education Division, Hetauda Sub-Metropolis, Harichandra Sapkota, Education Officer, Manahari Village Municipality, Aarti Pathak, Vice President of NGO Federation Bagmati Pradesh and Ramila Sapkota, Coordinator of Civil Society Forum Makawanpur had presented their views.
