Kathmandu: – The Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplava) has split due to internal disputes.

The party led by Biplab, which had recently returned to mainstream politics by signing an agreement with the government, has split.

The party has split under the coordination of former CPN (Maoist) senior politburo Krishna Prasad Dhamla.

There had been contradictions and disputes within the CPN (Maoist) for a long time after reaching a three-point agreement with the government. Dhamla issued a press release stating that the new party had to be announced as the Biplav had betrayed the Nepalese people again in the name of revolution.

The name of the new party will be Jana Samajwadi Manch, Nepal.
