John Rose wins the Global Water Award
Canada- Professor John Rose has been named the winner of the prestigious International Water Association’s Global Water Award. He was announced as an award winner at the World Water Conference and Exhibition being held in Toronto, Canada.
The award was presented to him during the World Water Conference and Exhibition in Toronto. The award was also handed over by Tom Mollenkopf AO, President of the World Water Association.
A water conference and exhibition are currently underway in Canada focusing on those who are working to solve water problems and challenges in the world and how to shape the future of water. The World Water Association has informed that the event, which focuses on the theme of shaping the future of our water, has special relevance to the climate change agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A highly respected member of the global water community, John is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering. His research focuses on the application of new molecular methods, monitoring of pathogens, and removal of pathogens through water and wastewater treatment.
The World Water Conference and Exhibition hosts an important event involving water experts, leaders, decision makers, leading researchers and business representatives from within and outside the water sector.
This congress and exhibition, which has been in operation since August 11, will continue until the 15th. Sakshi Shukla, Communication and Marketing Officer of the World Water Association, informed that the important debates facing the world in the water sector are being discussed at the conference.
