Former MP Paudel passed away
Kathmandu: – Former MP of the National Assembly and former Vice Chancellor of Nepal Sanskrit University Prof. Bidur Paudel has passed away at the age of 77 due to a stroke.
He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal for treatment after suffering from first stroke due to Covid-19 vaccine on Baishakh-11.
He was taken to Pashupati Aryaghat on Friday evening after doctors said he would not recover.
Poudel, a former central member of the Nepali Congress, former chairman of the empowered Bagmati Sewerage Management Project, and former managing member of the Pashupati Area Development Fund, had been living with his nephew Parameshwar at his residence in Guheshwari.
According to family sources, Paudel will be cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat today.
