State government has done people-centered work: Prasai

Makawanpur: – Chief of Bagmati State Bishnu Prasad Prasai said that the state government has performed their duties honestly and carefully by understanding the needs and requirement of the people. Inaugurating the third anniversary celebration held on the occasion of the three-year anniversary of the formation of the then Bagmati Provincial Government, he said that the plan is to live a peaceful life instead of a ‘political movement’ life.

Prasai, who was also the chief guest of the program, said that the efforts made by the state government to implement projects of National Pride and ‘Multi-year Plan’ in different districts of the state. Adding the statement, CM of Bagmati State Dormani Paudel said that the multi-year plan has been implemented over all the districts of state during the tenure of three years since the formation of the state government.

CM Paudel of the State has sworn as Chief Minister on 29-Magh of 2074, on the same day of formation of State Assembly. It has been mentioned by Sanumar Shrestha, speaker of the Bagmati State Assembly, that the state assembly has already drafted 58 different laws required by the government and 11 acts are being prepared for amendment.

On the occasion, Chief of Bagmati Pradesh Prasai released a book on the development of the province published by the state government and a book on state development published by the state policy planning commission.

Chief of the District Coordination Committee Raghunath Khulal, Executive Director of Martyr Ganga Lal Heart Disease Foundation Dr. Chandramani Adhikari and Secretary to the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers Radhika Aryal said that the state government was implementing the periodical plan for three years and various strategic plans were being implemented to provide opportunities to the people for health treatment and higher education.

The state government had also awarded Dr. Man Bahadur Bishwakarma, Chief Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Council, Basanta Lama, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Dipendra Rokka, a representative of Nepal Television Makawanpur.
