D.C.C Makawanpur allowed Bakaiya to be declared child friendly
Makawanpur: – District Coordinating Committee (DCC) Makwanpur has formally given permission to the Bakaiya village municipalities to declare child friendly local level.
A local level coordination meeting chaired by District Coordination Committee Makawanpur chief Raghunath Khulalal on Sunday gave permission to the village municipality to declare child friendly local level of the district.
Chief Khulal handed over certificates to the team including village chairman Damodar Khanal and vice chairman Sarala Bolkhel to declare as child friendly village municipality.
As the monitoring has confirmed that the village municipality has achieved the criteria and achievement according to the mplementation Procedure 2068 and completed the procedures as per Child Friendly Local Level Procedure 2070, permission has been granted for declaring it as the second child friendly local level in the district.
The Bakaiya is to be declared as Child Friednly on Magh-29.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to conduct district level and local level football tournament which will be organized by the District Coordination Committee with the participation of all local levels.
The District Coordinating Committee has decided to conduct a local level football tournament in the upcoming Chaitra under the management of the District Sports Development Committee.
A similar meeting decided to provide details of the success stories published by DCC at the local level for the publication of a book called Makawanpur, which is being published regularly, said DCC Chief Khulal.
Similarly, the meeting has decided that all the 10 local levels of the district will provide financial assistance for the National Football Tournament (Gold Cup) to be organized by the District Football Association. The meeting decided to support the Martyrs’ Memorial Local Level National Gold Cup which is to be organized by the Football Association. Chief Khulal said that it has already been decided that the village municipalities of the district will provide Rs 500,000, the municipality Rs 1 million and the sub-metropolis Rs 1.5 million for the operation of the Gold Cup.
