Makawanpur: – District Police Office, Makawanpur has arrested a fugitive accused in a rape case. The arrested has been identified as  Jivan Syangbo, 34, of Manahari Gaupalika Ward No. 2 of Makawanpur.

He was arrested by the police team deployed from the District Police Office, Makawanpur on Sunday.

By the Supreme Court on 2073 Jestha-26, He was sentenced to three years and 11 months imprisonment and fine but he absconded and has been arrested now.

He was brought to the District Police Office, Makawanpur and sent to the District Court, Makawanpur for payment of fine and imprisonment, according to the Makawanpur Police.
