Seventh session meeting of Bagmati Provincial Assembly came to an end

Makawanpur: – The current seventh session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly has come to an end.

Bagmati Chief Bishnu Prasad Prasai has issued a notice concluding the seventh session of the state assembly from 12 noon on Tuesday.

He concluded the current seventh session of the state assembly in accordance with Article 183, Clause 2 of the Constitution of Nepal.

The CPN-Maoist, the main opposition party in the state assembly, had been blocking the parliament demanding an answer from Chief Minister Dormani Paudel.

The CPN (Maoist) is blocking the parliament demanding Chief Minister Paudel’s reply on the issue of government procurement of electric buses without any criteria, construction of tunnels without adequate discussion with private companies, construction of tunnels, financial assistance to Madan Bhandari Foundation.

Similarly, the Maoist had boycotted the all-party meeting convened by Chief Minister Paudel on Monday. The Center had boycotted the all-party meeting expressing disagreement over the agenda to be presented.
