‘Mero Kitta’ program started

Makawanpur: – From today, it is possible to view the map of your land at home and print it yourself. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the arrangement at a formal function organized by the Survey Department on Thursday.

The department has stated that after the implementation of this arrangement, the owner should not have to go to the office to print the map of the house and land and pay the return fee. This service can be availed by logging in to ‘My Kitta.gov.np’, said a department official.

Damodar Dhakal, information officer of the Department of Surveying and Mapping, added that the service has been started to provide fast service to the recipients.

According to him, the service will be implemented in Dilli Bazaar, Kalanki and Bhaktapur offices of Kathmandu Valley on Thursday. After that, it will be gradually implemented across the country, the department said.

Within a week, Mero Kitta service will start from 126 survey offices across the Kathmandu Valley and then across the country.
