Kathmandu: – Corona infection is on the rise among returnees from India in the far-western states.

While corona infection is on the rise in India, it is also found to be on the rise among Nepalese returning from various cities in India.

Currently, most Nepalese are returning from Gauriphanta. Many of which have been confirmed corona. Eight thousand 808 of those who returned from this checkpoint from Chaitra-3 to 30 have been tested by antigen method.

Out of which, corona infection has been confirmed in 467 people. As of Wednesday afternoon, corona infection has been confirmed in 13 of those who came from Gauriphanta Entry Point, health workers said.

Amit BK, an employee of the District Health Office, Kailali, said that corona infection has been confirmed in most of the cases coming from India since Chaitra-20. This news is in today’s Gorkhapatra daily.
