Oath taking function of newly elected bearers of FNJ-Bagmati State

Makawanpur: – Officials of the newly elected working committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bagmati Pradesh, have taken oath for their respective posts and privacy.
According to the Election Committee, the newly elected members of the working committee were sworn in at a function held at the office of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bagmati Pradesh, at Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 11 on Monday.
The newly elected chairperson of the federation, Shiva Devkota, vice-chairperson Rupesh Dulal, women vice-chairperson Nanimaya Karki (Samjhana), general secretary Krishna Saru Magar, treasurer Ramesh Dhungel and inclusive secretary Rajan BK (Gaule) and members took oath of office and secrecy.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected chairperson of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bagmati Pradesh Committee, Davkota, stressed on the need for journalists to be disciplined and publish only factual news in order to conserve democracy.
He said that the time has come for all working journalists to work together for the development of press freedom and journalism.
On the occasion, Pratap Bista, the current president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bagmati Pradesh, handed over the post to the newly elected president Devkota.
