Makawanpur: – Bagmati Province, Transportation Management Service Office, Hetauda is going to operate a new software system from the third week of next Baishakh.
Chief of the office, Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari, informed that the office will operate new software related to the registration of vehicles in different districts of the state from the third week of Baiskhakh.
According to the office, a total of 6,468 people had registered online to get driving licenses for all types of vehicles in different districts of the state from Poush-24 to Mid-phalgun of the current fiscal year.
Out of the registered person, 2290 have so far passed the written test and trial to obtain a license. Bhandari informed that the Department of Transportation Services, Kathmandu will distribute Smart license cards to them within a few months.
The office has also distributed 6,510 old smart cards out of 11,744 old smart cards from the office.
According to the office, information has been circulated from the Transport Service Office to distribute 5,234 smart cards to the concerned people soon.
