FNJ holding election today

Kathmandu: – For the first time in the history, the new leadership of the Federation of Nepali Journalists is being elected through direct election system.
Election for the new working committees of the center, states and districts is going to be held on Wednesday.
The election is scheduled to be held from 9 am to 4 pm in which about 13,180 journalists across the country will elect their leaders for a three-year term.
According to the Federation of Nepali Journalists, polling stations have been set up at Dasharath Stadium for associate members whereas 19 places for academy members.
The constituency of Makawanpur district is located at Hetauda Resort where about 164 journalist members of the district will cast their votes. The polling started at 9 am and will continue till 4 pm, according to the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Makawanpur.
