Makawanpur:- The list of central candidates for the upcoming election of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has been published.

On Saturday, the federation has published the list of those who have registered their candidatures.

It has been stated that the central, state and district elections will be held  on Chaitra-25 through direct election system.

The dates for the nomination of candidates for the states and districts have been fixed for Chaitra-19 and Chaitra-22, respectively.

Those nominated for the central candidature on Saturday have been given till 1 pm of Chaitra-17 to protest against the candidature.

Five candidates have filed nominations for the post of Central President at Center whereas 4 have filed nomination for the post of Senior Vice-president of the federation.

Similarly, 2 for the post of Vice President (Women), 5  for Vice President (Inclusive), 4 for General Secretary, 6 in Secretary (Open), 2 in Secretary (Women), 3 in Secretary (Adivasi Janajati), Secretary (Madhesi) 4 candidates have been nominated for the post of secretary (Dalit) and 6 candidates have been nominated for the post of secretary (associate), whereas 6 have filed their nomination for the post of Treasurer.

6 from Province No. 1, 7 from Province No. 2, 7 from Bagmati Province (excluding Kathmandu Valley), 7 from Gandaki Province, 10 from Lumbini Province, 7 from Karnali Province, 5 from Far Western Province and 8 from Valley Pradesh, 8 candidates from Pratishthan (province), 5 from Institutional Province Associate and 27 from open members have filed nominations for the post of membership.

Similarly, 3 women members (from Madhesi side), 2 women members (from Adivasi Janajati side), 6 women members (from Arya Khas side), 3 women members from Dalit side, 6 members (from Adivasi Janajati side), 9 members (from Dalit side), members ( 7 candidates have registered from Madhesi side, 4 members from disability side and 2 members from minority side have filed nomination.

Also, three candidates have filed nominations for the post of Account Committee Coordinator, three for the members of the Accounts Committee and three for the women of the Accounts Committee have been nominated.
