Demand to hold Annual Meeting of Chamber of Commerce adopting precaution

Makawanpur: – Mahendra Raut, former general secretary of the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and candidate for the post of president, has expressed his serious concern over the sudden postponement of the association’s 54th annual general meeting and convention.

In a press release on Thursday, Raut demanded to hold the annual convention of the association as soon as possible adopting proper precaution.

The current executive committee had decided to abruptly postpone the annual meeting and convention of the association scheduled for Chaitra-21, 22 and 23 to avoid the possible risk of infection with the corona virus (Covid-19).

Raut demanded that it should be resumed as soon as possible by adopting security measures after holding necessary discussions with all the concerned parties.

In the presence of the election committee, he has urged all the industrialists and members to move ahead with the program without any hindrance. He is of the view that the annual gathering and convention should be held by adopting the standards of health security while the general industrialists are moving forward with enthusiasm, enthusiasm and taking shape of the festival.

Raut expressed his gratitude for the goodwill and love of the general electorate and appealed for the continued support of the industrialists in the days to come.
