State government has given priority to the infrastructure: Minister Phuyal
Makawanpur: – Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development of Bagmati State Rameshwar Phuyal said that the state government has expedited the construction of roads, transport, irrigation, Rajkulo and other development infrastructures in different districts of the state during the last three years.
While addressing the handover ceremony of the agreement signed between the people’s representatives of different districts of the state and Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Development Sanjeev Baral to construct and reform the roads in different district on Sunday, he expressed his words.
He said that the state government has given high priority to the reconstruction of Stone Tap ‘Dhungedhara’ in the federal capital Kathmandu including the state capital Hetauda, pitching of roads and displacement of Tuhin.
At the program he also informed that Bagmati state has completed construction of 890 KM of roads, 405 km roads graveling and pitch of 219 km of roads over the 13 districts of the state till now.
Similarly, the construction of 33 concrete bridges has been completed in different districts of the state so far and now the construction work of 24 Rajkulo in Kathmandu Valley, Thaha Municipality of Makawanpur, Lalitpur and Nuwakot districts has been expedited, he added.
He also reminded the state government not only to develop Hetauda one sided, all the 13 districts should be developed equally.
An international standard tender has been invited for the construction of a historic 104-year-old 200-meter tunnel near the Churiyamai Temple on the border of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Ward Nos. 14 and 15 under the East-West Highway and construction work will start soon, according to him.
Through his word he said that the state government is speeding up the construction of 11 historic ‘Dungedhara’ in Dmaan, palung and Chilang of Thaha Municipality of Makawanpur and 3 in Kathmandu valley, all together work on the 14 Dhungedhara have been expedited.
