Makawanpur: – In Makawanpur, all the preparations for the International Women’s Day have been completed regarding the celebration of the women’s day on March-8; meeting held in Hetauda has decided to celebrate the day in a grand manner by holding various programs.

In the meeting chaired by District Coordination Committee Makawanpur Chief Raghunath Khulal, various governmental and non-governmental organizations have given information about the program and given various responsibilities. In the previous meeting, the main organizing committee has been formed under the coordination of D.C.O Deputy Chief Bhagwati Pudasaini.

On the occasion of the day, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan Municipality will announce Municipal Women’s Awakening Group and Workers Women’s Respect Program, Bakaiya Village Municipality will hold Lok Dohori Competition. The sports material and ward level interaction, Sirjana Manjushree Asahay Kendra has decided to perform street drama.

From the meeting, the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati State has decided to hold a interaction program on Phalgun-23, Street Drama on Phalgun-23 and 24 near Sushmita Chowk and Buddhachowk, also a discussion gathering is scheduled to be hold on Phalgun-24 at 7:30 AM in the playground of Bhutandevi Secondary.

The meeting has decided to appoint Hetauda Sub-metropolis as the Deputy Coordinator for the celebration of Women’s Day. The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
