Makawanpur: – A dispute has broken out between police personnel and locals while clearing the road jam at Raptipul in Hetauda on the East-West Highway.

In a accident, took place on Wednesday in which Khemlal Shrestha, 36, of Hetauda-11 was died while hitting by a truck (Na-6-Kha 4044) to a Mayuri (Na 1 Ha 3408).

According to Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makwanpur, a clash broke out between the police and the victim after the road was blocked demanding action against those involved in the accident and necessary investigations are being carried out arresting them.

According to the Makwanpur Police, the vehicles stopped on the highway, which had been blocked since 1 pm, were reopened using force.
