Makawanpur: – The District Administration Office, Makawanpur, has fixed a definite date for obtaining citizenship.
Makawanpur Assistant Chief District Officer Chiranjeevi Sharma informed in a statement on Sunday that the administration had fixed a date for citizenship due to the national identity card campaign.
As a campaign has been launched to register the details of the citizens for the national identity card, the number of people seeking new citizenship and copying has increased in the district administration office for that purpose.
The administration has directed the citizens of Thahanagar, Indrasarovar, Raksirang, Baikaya, Makawanpurgadhi and Bhimphedi villages to get new and duplicate citizenship on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Similarly, Hetauda sub-metropolitan municipality, Bagmati and Kailash municipalities have been assigned on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The administration has not mentioned the exact date of Manahari village municipality in the information issued.
Assistant C.D.O Sharma said that it has not been decided to give a definite date to all the local levels for activities except citizenship.
