Kathmandu: – Dinesh Bhatt, 18, of Dogadakedar in Baitadi has confessed to the crime saying that he was involved in the rape and murder of 17-year-old Bhagarathi Bhatt.

While returning home from ‘Sanatan Dharma Secondary School’ after studying, Dinesh has given a statement to the police that he killed Bhagarathi after raping her. Her body was found 50 meters below the road by the police.

According to SSP Mukesh Singh of the Far-Western Provincial Police Office, Bhatt’s involvement in the murder has been confirmed. Police are preparing to release Bhatta at a press conference at the District Police Office, Baitadi at 11 pm on Wednesday.
