Nawalpur: – A woman who was returning after taking bath in Narayani River has been attacked by a Rhino. Rukmani Regmi, 75, of Brahmasthan in Madhyabindu Municipality-3 of Nawalparasi (East of Bardaghat-sustapur) has been injured in that Rhino attack.

According to District Police Office Information Officer Vishal Tamang, Regmi was injured when she was attacked by a rhino at around 10.30 on Monday. According to Tamang, Regmi’s condition was critical as he was injured in various parts of his body. According to Tamang, the injured Regmi has been shifted to Bharatpur in Chitwan for further treatment.

Humnath Pokharel, a local said that there was an old rhinoceros in the Brahmasthan area and he used to go to Narayani river every morning. According to Pokharel, Regmi, who was injured by a rhinoceros attack, was attacked and injured by a rhinoceros about 10 years ago.
