Makawanpur: –  Makawanpur police have arrested a fugitive defendant in a banking case. The arrested identified as Binod Praja, 35, of Manahari Gaupalika Ward No. 6 of Makawanpur has been arrested.

Police deployed on Sunday has arrested the absconding defendants of ‘Banking Malpractice’ who is yet to pay fine of Rs. 4,18,250 according to the decision of District Court Makawanpur on 25th of Magh-2076 BS.

The absconding was arrested from Manahari Gaupalika ward No.7 of Makawanpur, said Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur.

According to him, the arrested is being produced in the district Court in Makawanpur to pay the fine.
