Makawanpur: – Adult education has been started for the uneducated women of Dangling in Raksirang Gaupalika Ward No. 7 of Makawanpur. Women come to learn with a pen in their arms which has started from Friday.

Moktan has targeted to make at least 20 women literate from the program.

Ashok Sintan of Manahari, Chandra Bahadur Gole of Hetauda, ​​Reshmalal Achhami of Hetauda and Mitra Rai, a resident of Switzerland, have started the program of educating women.

Sintan said that they have started a campaign to make illiterate women of the village literate with personal investment. He said that child marriage has increased due to illiteracy in Chepang-majority villages and social awareness is low.

Sintan said that in the first phase, classes will be conducted for illiterate women between the ages of 18 and 58 for six months.

Manmaya Praja of the village has been given the responsibility of facilitator and Nisha Lama has been given the responsibility of assistant for conducting adult education.

The local has brought adult education in the village after the permission of the ward office.
