Kathmandu: – Due to the dispute over the authority of CPN, the possibility of holding mid-term election in Baiskhakh-17 and 27 is diminishing. There are only 85 days left to hold the election.
By this time, the parties participating in the election should have been called for party registration.
In the past, when the first election of the Constituent Assembly was held in Chaitra of 2074, party registration was called for in Asadh. For the election to be held in Mangir, 2070 BS, information was issued to the political parties participating in the election in Baisakh.
The former chief election commissioners have been questioned whether the election will be held on the scheduled date or not, the commission should have focused on election preparation but are concentrated to resolve the dispute over the authority of the CPN while the entire focus should be on the preparation of election.
