Makawanpur: – Chairman of Manahari Village Municipality Ekraj Upreti inaugurated the newly constructed building of Namuna Krishak Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited at Manahari Village Municipality Ward No. 3 Bhundurang on Monday.
The six-room building has been constructed by the cooperative at a cost of Rs 4.1 million. The cooperative has spent Rs. 36 Lakhs for the construction of the cooperative building while the Manahari village municipality has provided financial assistance of Rs. 5 Lakhs.
The cooperative, which has 250 share members, is carrying out activities such as collection of Vegetables, operation of farmers’ library and milk collection as well as the cooperative has also received a vehicle to carry vegetables as a grant.
Ekraj Upreti, chairman of the village municipality, said that the chemical fertilizer will be distributed to the locals when they need the fertilizers.
Chairman of the village municipality Upreti was the chief guest at the inauguration program presided over by Lal Bahadur Malla.
