Makawanpur. Speaker of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly Sanukumar Shrestha has convened the seventh session of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly. According to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Speaker Shrestha has called the meeting of the Provincial Assembly for 1 pm today.

According to Krishna Hari Khadka, Chief Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, Shrestha convened a meeting with Chief Minister Dormani Paudel and KP Sharma Oli last night.

According to him, the meeting has been called by Shrestha after the meeting of the working committee of the state assembly asked him to convene a meeting yesterday after reaching an agreement with the chief minister and the leaders of the Oli faction.

In today’s meeting, general discussion will begin on the no-confidence motion registered against Chief Minister Dormani Paudel, according to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

The decisions taken at yesterday’s meeting of the Working Advisory Committee will be handed over to the Speaker of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly Sanukumar Shrestha by the Member of the Provincial Assembly Chhiring Dorje Lama at 11 am today.

After the leaders of various parties expressed their best wishes for the seventh session of the state assembly on Magh-7, Speaker Shrestha adjourned the meeting indefinitely.
