Makawanpur: – The Bagmati State Police Office, Hetauda, has launched a television program named ‘Prahari Darpan’ to make public the activities done by the police.
The program has been started broadcasting on the 1st and 15th day of every month through the first satellite television National Gold HD, which came into operation from the Capital of the State, Hetauda.
Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Paudel inaugurated the television program ‘Prahari Darpan’ at a program organized at Bagmati State Police Office, Hetauda on Thursday.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Paudel informed that the state government is ready to provide all kinds of assistance to the security apparatus in the state. The program has been launched with the objective of informing the general public about the work done by the police unit under Bagmati Pradesh and making the civic responsibility effective in building a peaceful society.
The fortnightly half-hour ‘Prahari Darpan’ program will be aired on National Gold Television at 7.30 pm. The program will be managed and operated by the police personnel working under Bagmati Pradesh. According to the police, the television program has been launched to broadcast various creative and informative materials to make the general public aware about maintaining peace and security and preventing crime.
Chief of the State Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Basant Kumar Lama, informed that there is a plan to broadcast various creative and informative materials in order to make the people aware and to control the crime which has been become a serious problem.
