NC Makawanpur is holding protest today
Makawanpur: – Nepali Congress Makawanpur is protesting against the dissolution of the House of Representatives at four different places in Makawanpur on Saturday.
As per the previously announced program of the Nepali Congress Central Committee, the Nepali Congress (NC) is going to hold protests in 330 state assembly constituencies across the country today (Saturday).
Congress Makawanpur is protesting in Chhatiwan under the Provincial Assembly ‘A’ of Makawanpur’s Representative Assembly Constituency No. 1 and at Buddhachowk in Hetauda under the Provincial Assembly ‘B’ of Constituency No. 1. Similarly, it is organizing protests in Bajrabarahi of Thahanagar under State Assembly ‘A’ of House of Representatives Constituency No. 2 and Manahari Bazaar under State Assembly ‘B’.
Congress central member Arjun Narasimha KC and district president and parliamentary party leader of Bagmati Pradesh Indra Bahadur Baniya are scheduled to address the protest rally in Hetauda, said NC Makawanpur spokesperson Pradip Koirala.
Spokesperson Koirala has informed that all preparations have been completed for the protests to be held in all four places. He also requested the leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress to participate in the program to be held in their respective constituencies.
After the dissolution of the parliament by the President on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the main opposition party Nepali Congress has been organizing protests and assembly conferences by announcing a program of phased agitation.
