Makawanpur: – More than two thousands beneficiaries under the ‘ Reconstruction of Houses of earthquake victims’ in Makawanpur district are going to be cut. Those, who did not come to the ‘National Reconstruction Authority’ by Mid-Mangsir will be cut from the list of beneficiaries.

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the National Reconstruction Authority, The District Project Implementation Unit (Monitoring, Management and Local Infrastructure) of the Authority, Makawanpur, organized a program in Hetauda on Sunday, it has been stated.

Bimal Keshar, head of the District Project Implementation Unit said that a recommendation has been sent to the authority to cut the data from the list of 2383 beneficiaries who did not come to the agreement within the stipulated time.

He also added, after earthquake in 2072 BS and the subsequent aftershocks, 35,188 houses in Makawanpur were completely damaged and 63% or 22,105 beneficiaries have completed the construction of houses.

Out of the list of beneficiaries, 93% or 32,805 people have signed the grant agreement and received the first installment and 23,012 beneficiaries have received the third installment.
