Restriction for 15-days in Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu: – A 15-day restraining order has been issued in Kathmandu Valley which is to be implemented from Thursday. At the same time, the number of people leaving Kathmandu has increased since this morning.
Crowds of long and short distance commuters from different parts of Kathmandu have gathered.
Despite the Chief District Officer of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley issuing a one-week restraining order from Baiskhakh, the number of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley has increased after the Council of Ministers extended that period to 15 days which resulted shortage of tickets in the new bus park for passengers due to shortage of long distance vehicles.
Public transport has been plying from the new bus park to more than 65 districts across the country. The new bus park has been carrying 800 to 1,000 public transports daily.
As the infection has increased, the country is on the verge of collapse again. The number of district where restriction has been implemented to breaking the ‘chain’ of infection after the second wave of infections has risen to nine.
