Makawanpur: – A person has been killed in a axe-attack in Kailas Rural Municipality of Makawanpur district.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, the father was killed when his own son attacked him with an axe in Kailash Gaupalika Ward No. 3 on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Balaram Sapkota, 50 of Kailash, according to District Police Office, Makawanpur.

Sapkota died on the spot and Anjan Sapkota, son of the deceased has been arrested by the police team of Bharat Police Station, informed Police.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, further investigations are being carried into the cause of Anjan’s attack on his father.
