Makawanpur: – Bagmati State Police Office, Hetauda has launched a campaign to purify the behavior of police personnel. According to the Bagmati State Police Office, Hetauda, ​​a campaign has been launched to improve the behavior of the police and make the service effectives.

According to the office, the campaign has carried out 28 actions and 30 rewards. Accordingly, the State Police Office has rewarded a total of 651 police personnel in the current fiscal year and taken action against 203 of them.

For the first time in the country, the State Police Office has put forward a plan to take action and reward the police personnel by implementing the code of conduct mandate 2077 to be followed by the Nepal Police personnel.

This year only, the state police office has arrested 1870 people who had tried to give bribe to the police personnel and had collected fine of Rs 19 Lakhs, 45 thousands whereas amount of Rs 3 lakhs and 45 thousands have been returned to the guilty.

Similarly, buildings of 48 police units under Bagmati State Police have been constructed and buildings of 21 are under construction. There are a total of 333 permanent police units and 128 temporary police units under the Bagmati State Police.
