Makawanpur: – Children of all local levels of Makawanpur will be given Balvita, Vitamin A and anti-parasitic drugs from Monday.

Tuberculosis and Leprosy Officer Thakur Paudel informed that the district is preparing to provide Balvita, Vitamin and Worm medicine through various health centers at all 10 local levels.

According to him, children will be given Balvita, Vitamin and Worm medicine today and tomorrow (Tuesday) in 8 localities of the district including Bhimphedi, Indrasarovar, Makawanpurgadhi, Kailash, Rasiksarang, Bakaiya, Bagmati and Manahari, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan and Thahan Municipality.

Balvita, vitamins and anti-parasitic drugs are being fed to children under the age of five with the aim of making them healthy.
