Nawalparasi: –  Three persons were killed in a bus accident at Daunne in Nawalparasi district on Saturday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Dhanu Darlami, 25, of Ilam, Jyamo Hise Chamo Gyalmo, 57, of Bakaiyan Gaupalika Ward No. 5 of Makawanpur and Himlal Neupane, 72, of Chitwan Bharatpur Mahanagarpalika-25.

At least 31 people were injured when a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 7000) left for Narayangad from Butwal in Binai Triveni Gaupalika-2 of Nawalpur fell down two meters from the road on Saturday evening. One of them died at night while undergoing treatment, according to police.

According to the police, the other injured are being treated at various hospitals in Bharatpur and Nawalpur.
