Makawanpur: – Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Paudel has said that the main goal of the state government is to provide land’s papers to the squatters living in the state within the next fiscal year.

This was stated by Chief Minister Paudel while addressing an interaction program on squatters’ problems, challenges and solutions among the officials and member secretaries of the Land Management Commission organized by the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives in Hetauda today.

Chief Minister Paudel informed that the land would be distributed to the squatters living in various districts of the state within this fiscal year from the budget and staff manpower provided in collaboration with the state government and the federal government.

For the program, the additional budget will be allocated in the policy program to be brought by the state government on Asar-1 and necessary resources will be created for the establishment of the office and required manpower.

He advised that the Land Management Squatters Commission should keep its performance agile by keeping a record of the land occupied by the people within the forest boundaries within the norms of law and order.

He said that the state government would soon take initiative to provide necessary staff, computers and vehicles to the land commission and the state government would send a team to mobilize manpower on the spot.
