Makawanpur: – The Gandaki state government is almost certain to collapse.

Although the UML and the UCPN (Maoist) have been beautified by the Supreme Court on Phalgun-23, other states have become more secure, but Gandaki is almost certain to collapse.

With the support of the Jana Morcha, a new government will be formed and the government led by Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung will fall. There are 60 members in the state assembly. Of them, CPN-UML has 27 MPs.

There are 15 Congress MPs, 12 Maoist MPs, 3 Janamorcha MPs and 2 JSP MPs in Gandaki.

With the support of the Jana Morcha, the number of members reaches 32. As one of the Maoist MPs is the Speaker, the majority against Prithvi Subba seems to be 31.

According to Kumar Khadka, coordinator of the Nepali Congress Dialogue Committee, the parties, which are united to form a new government, will gather at the Parliament Secretariat this morning to file a no-confidence motion.

Although there was a place in the political agenda to form a government in the place of Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung, it was not certain that the government would lead the government. The CPN (Maoist) has agreed to join the government led by the main opposition party Nepali Congress on Wednesday.

When filing a no-confidence motion, it is necessary to disclose who will be the chief minister. According to Mekhlal Shrestha, Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party, the Nepali Congress has nominated Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel as the Chief Minister.
