Makawanpur: – The eastern border has been sealed for the upcoming elections in West Bengal, India. The checkpoint has been closed for 72 hours from Thursday morning till 6 pm on Baiskhakh-4.

Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timalsina informed that the Kakadvitta and Bhadrapur checkpoints have been closed in view of the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on Baiskhakh-4 in West Bengal.

He said that the movement of vehicles and people has been completely stopped.
