Makawanpur: – The Bagmati state government is to provide loans at concessional interest rates to the citizens of the state for production and job creation.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning of the State is to provide loan at concessional interest rate to the citizens of the state for production and employment creation in 7 sectors including agriculture, industry, tourism, forest, environment and trade.

The ministry has stated that plan it to provide loans up to a maximum of Rs 10 Lakhs for a maximum of five years at a concessional interest rate for agriculture, industry, tourism promotion, trade and business, forest and environment, women and Dalit community development and waste management.

The program is to be run with the objective to rehabilitate home and small scale industries affected by the Corona virus (Covid-19), said Ministry.

For the concessional loan about 3 Arba investment in the current fiscal year have been committed by the government.
