Makawanpur: – In the first seven months of the current fiscal year, 215 incidents of women violence have been registered in Makawanpur.
According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, 146 incidents of domestic violence and 69 other incidents of violence against women have been registered in the district whereas 124 cases have been settled, according to the Women, Children and Senior Citizens Service Center Branch of the office.
Similarly, out of 69 incidents of violence against women (other than domestic violence), 57 cases have been solved, said Jayeshwar Rimal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Makawanpur.
Altogether, 184 cases registered against women violence, have been solved, said Superintendent of Police Rimal.
According to the District Police Office Data, 21 cases against women violence have been registered in the month of Shrawan of this fiscal year, 14 in Bhadra, 23 in Ashoj, 14 in Kartik, 26 in the month of Mangsir, 23 in Poush and 25 in the month of Magh.
Similarly, while looking solved cases, 10 cases of Shrawan, 6 in Bhadra, 16 in Ashoj, 8 in Kartik, 11 in Mangsir, 6 in Poush and 12 in Magh have been solved by the police.
