Kathmandu: – The government has taken the process forward to meet the demands raised by the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal. The government has initiated the process to withdraw the cases registered in the district court and release the prisoners during the Madhes movement.
According to the JSP, the government has asked the people to fill up a form to find out when and where the cases of those detained during the Madhes movement were registered and the current status of those cases. JSP leader and task force member Laxman Lal Karna said that filling the form would mean that the demands put forward by his party would be met.
The government has also passed a procedure on the release process to meet the demands of the JSP. As soon as the procedure is passed, JSP has been asked to fill the form to get the details of the case and the detainee. There is news in today’s Nagarik daily.
