Bagmati State Assembly meeting to be held in last week of Chaitra
Makawanpur: – The seventh meeting of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, which has been postponed for several months, will be held in the last week of Chaitra, said Krishna Hari Khadka, chief secretary of the provincial assembly secretariat.
According to him, a meeting of the Working Advisory Committee of the Provincial Assembly is scheduled to be held on Chaitra-20 at 1 PM to discuss more about the meeting.
Chief Secretary Khadka made the remarks at a joint meeting of the chairpersons of five different committees under the Bagmati Provincial Assembly on Thursday.
In the joint meeting, Sanukumar Shrestha, Speaker of the Provincial Assembly, Madhav Prasad Paudel, Chairman of the State Affairs Committee, Saresh Nepal, Chairman of the Finance and Development Committee, Nhuchhe Narayan Shrestha, Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Ghanshyam Dahal, Chairman of the Education, Health and Agriculture Committee, Rama Ale Magar, Chairman of the Industry, Tourism and Environment Committee and Chief Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat Krishna Hari Khadka were presented on the occasion.
He informed that it was agreed to send monitoring teams led by the chairpersons of various committees in all the 13 districts of the state soon to monitor the work done by the state assembly for the public interest despite the enactment of 60 acts and laws so far.
