Bagmati is spending Rs 5 Crores for development of Gosaikund
Makawanpur: – The Bagmati state government has decided to spend Rs. 5 Crores for the integrated development of Gosaikunda in Rasuwa district. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of the state will work for the integrated development of Gosaikunda, known as a religious and tourist destination.
The state government is going to build a dance house in Gosaikunda of Gosaikunda village municipality. Sanjay Pandey, head of the Urban Development and Building Office, Nuwakot, said that a stone staircase of 5 feet wide and 1300 meters long will be constructed on the way to Gosaikunda.
Under this decision, Gosaikunda will be paved with stones around the lake, railings will be installed around the kunda, bathrooms, changing rooms, toilets, solar lights will be connected, drinking water pipes will be connected 600 meters, two pavilions will be constructed, Chief Pandey informed that they have been included in the integrated project to build the canal.
The Urban Development and Building Office Nuwakot has been working in Dhading and Rasuwa districts. Chief of the building office Sanjay Pandey said that a monument to Lord Shiva would be erected at Gosaikunda for the time being and a tall idol would be placed after the construction.
He also informed that a memorial of Amar Singh will be built and a statue will be placed later. He said that a contract agreement will be signed with the construction company by issuing a letter of intent within this week and would be completed in 26 months.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development Rameshwor Phuyal said that discussions have been held several times with the people’s representatives from Rasuwa district including Kaisang Nurpu Tamang, chairman of Gosaikunda village for the integrated development of Gosaikunda.
