Makawanpur:- The District Traffic Police Office, Makawanpur has collected more than Rs. 1.5 Crore in the first eight months of the current fiscal year.

According to Inspector Prakash Pandey of the District Traffic Police Office, Makawanpur, the district has collected revenue of more than Rs. 1.5 Crores in eight months.

The Traffic Office Makawanpur has collected more revenue in the first eight months of the current fiscal year than in the previous fiscal year. In the last fiscal year 2076-077, the Traffic Office Makawanpur had collected total revenue of Rs. 1 Crore and 24 Lakhs.

A total of 1,850 vehicles were fined in the months of Shrawan and Bhadra from which police had collected revenue of Rs 14 Lakhs and 25,500 in this current fiscal year.

Similarly, the Traffic Office Makawanpur has collected revenue of Rs. 25 lakh 60 thousand from 2,750 vehicles in Ashoj, Rs. 27 lakh 59 thousand 500 from 3,100 vehicles in Kartik, Rs. 28 lakh 13 thousand 500 from 3,150 vehicles in Mangsir and Rs. 27 Lakhs and 47,500 in the month of Poush and 27 Lakhs and 79 thousands in the month of Phalgun, informed Pandey.
