Complaints of 81 missing motorcycles in 8 months in Makawanpur
Makawanpur: – In Makawanpur, 81 motorcycles have been reported missing in the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2077/07. According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, 81 motorcycles were reported missing from their homes and offices while parking at various places in the district from last Shrawan to Phalgun.
According to Jayeshwar Rimal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Spokesperson) at the District Police Office, Makawanpur, only five of the missing motorcycles have been returned to the owners so far. In Makawanpur, more thefts have been reported in rural areas than in market areas. It is said that there are many problems in remote villages because police personnel are centered in the market area more.
According to the District Police Office, the stolen motorcycles are being sold in other districts by changing the number plates and other parts. Spokesperson Rimal said that the accused was found selling such stolen motorcycles for Rs 30,000 to Rs 100,000.
According to him, the District Police Office, Makawanpur, is working on the first priority as 5/6 motorcycles are reported missing in the district every day.
It is learned that the District Police Office, Makawanpur has mobilized a special operation team to address the complaint of owners and catch the guilty.
