An inter-city intelligence competition is being held in Hetauda
Makawanpur: – An inter-city intelligence competition 2077 is scheduled to start from today in Hetauda of Makawanpur. The competition will be jointly organized by Makawanpur Intelligence Association and Hetauda Chess Club.
According to the organizers, 18 cities from different regions of Nepal have participated in the seven-phase competition according to the Swiss League system.
Each team will have four regular players, one alternate player and one manager, informed Narendra Bhandari, secretary of the Makawanpur Intelligence Association
Secretary Bhandari said that the participating teams must include women players or players in the under-16 age group.
Chief Minister of Bagmati Pradesh Dormani Paudel is scheduled to inaugurate the competition starting today.
The winner of the competition, which will end on Saturday, will receive Rs 250,000, the runner-up Rs 150,000, the third place winner Rs 50,000 and the fourth and fifth place winners Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.
