JSP and government close to agreement
Kathmandu: – While various exercises are being carried out to form a new government, the government and the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) have come close to an agreement. After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed his commitment to fulfill the demands of his party, a position of cooperation is being formed in the government, claims JSP sources.
According to JSP sources, JSP chairman Mahanta Thakur has been very close to Prime Minister Oli recently. According to a source, they have met and talked several times for a month and a half.
The government has also formed a task force to meet the demands of the party. The task force includes Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and leaders Subash Nemwang and Rajan Bhattarai on behalf of the government. A task force comprising Sarvendranath Shukla and Laxman Lal Karna has been formed from the party. Both Shukla and Karna are close to Thakur. Thakur had formed the task force on his own without any discussion with another party chairman Upendra Yadav. According to a source, the task force is close to an agreement.
