Five players of Makawanpur selected in Super League

Makawanpur: – Five players from Makawanpur have been selected in the Nepal Super League for the first time in Nepal.

Sunil Bal, Amir Shrestha, Ranjan Bista, Bimal Pandey and Rohit Karki of Makawanpur have been picked by various clubs in the auction held in Kathmandu on Friday.

Sunil Bal is an A grade player. Even though the base amount is Rs 1 lakh, Sunil Bal has been  got  Rs 2 lakh. He has been taken by Biratnagar City FC. Sunil Bal had last played for A Division League Castle Youth Club.

Amir Shrestha of B category has also got the maximum price of Rs 120,000. He has been recruited by Butwal Lumbini FC. Amir, who played in A Division League from Castle, is currently playing in the ongoing Shaheed Smriti Local Level International Gold Cup in Hetauda from Makawanpur-11.

Similarly, defender Vimal Pandey, who played in A Division League from Nepal Army, has been recruited by Kathmandu. He is a C class player. Even though the base amount of C category is Rs 20,000, Kathmandu has brought him in by paying a maximum price of Rs 75,000. Though Chitwan and Pokhara are ready to give him the maximum price, he has been selected for Kathmandu from the goal system.

Ranjan Bista, who played in A Division Club League from Manang Marshyangdi Club, has been picked by Lalitpur City FC. The B-base price of Rs 50,000 was brought to him by Lalitpur. Similarly, Lalitpur has also taken Rohit Karki from Sankata Club. Lalitpur has bought him in C grade for a base price of Rs 20,000.
