Cooperation between parties is required: – President Bhandari

Makawanpur: – President Bidhyadevi Bhandari has said that cooperation between political parties should not be broken.

Addressing the party meeting held at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas, she said that cooperation between the political parties should not be broken for the effective implementation of the constitution and strengthening of democracy and added that the mutual dialogue, cooperation and unity is the political beauty of Nepal.

She thanked the political parties for their unprecedented national unity in publishing a new political map last Jestha, including the encroached territories, and stressed the need for consensus and cooperation among all political parties in the days to come.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur and Upendra Yadav.

Similarly, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel, Leader Subash Nemwang, Vishnu Paudel, Ram Chandra Paudel, Vimalendra Nidhi, Dr. Shashank Koirala, Maoist center leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Dev Gurung were also present as well as former Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi, Chairman of RPP Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani, Rastriya Janamorcha president Chitra Bahadur KC and Janak Raj Sharma and Prem Suwal of Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party were also present.
