Makawanpur: – Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that it is time to fight against the communists to protect democracy.

Addressing a program organized by the Women’s Department of the Nepali Congress on Saturday, Deuba said it is time to fight against the Communist Party for making democracy permanent.

Democracy is the most important thing right now. The communists want to implement one-party totalitarianism, ‘he said so, our party needs to make democracy permanent. ‘

He claimed the NC to be only the party who had been fighting to save the democracy, where he also accused the political parties of not being democratic.

At the program, he also said that NC would not run away from the responsibilities of leading the government, if the situation arose in the nation.
